July Celebrations

Notable things about the July (or “Julis” as we call it in-game) LARP event:

Julis is the month of Summer Sun when the air turns hot and sultry throughout most of the realm. On the average, Julis is the warmest month in the year. The northernmost parts of the realm will have pleasant days while the Karthydian Desert and Ansaki Fens can experience oppressive heat waves. The major work of planting the crops is concluded and people deserve a break from their labors.

Carnivals

Julis is the month of traveling carnivals that have games, prizes, and rides. The midway is filled with interesting characters like the animal tamer, strong man, juggler, knife thrower, and tightrope walker. Games of skills and chance are very common and there are prizes aplenty. Some carnivals have grotesqueries where oddities are displayed.
